Synspective, Inc., a portfolio company of Abies Ventures Fund I, L.P., has signed a contract with Rocket Lab, a US aerospace company, for the launch of the second small SAR satellite “StriX-beta” and the launches of two more StriX series satellites following the StriX-beta. The launch of the Strix-β is scheduled for early 2022. Synspective is the first company in Japan to successfully acquire images with a private small SAR satellite and plans to launch a constellation of 30 satellites by the late 2020s.
