Telexistence, a portfolio company of Abies Ventures, has entered into a partnership with Seven-Eleven Japan to develop, demonstrate, and deploy humanoid robots utilizing generative AI in stores.

The two companies will implement a robotic base model in Astra and advance their efforts with the goal of introducing it to 7-Eleven stores by 2029, thereby offering a complementary solution to various environmental changes surrounding stores, including labor shortages.
