Pixie Dust Technologies, Inc. (“PxDT”) has jointly developed “iwasemi™ HX-α”, a clear sound-absorbing panel with Itoki Corporation taking advantage of the flexibility of the material.

This product is a transparent sound-absorbing panel that can be attached to glass, created by combining PxDT’s acoustic metamaterial technology with Itoki’s design and engineering technology. The product has a sound-absorbing structure designed specifically for the 500 to 1000 Hz frequency band that is often found in human voices in offices where web conferencing is commonplace. This product is scheduled to go on sale in the summer of 2022.

Features of iwasemi™ HX-α

1. Sound-absorbing structure made of transparent resin is realized by taking advantage of the material flexibility of iwasemi™.
2. Sound-absorbing structure designed specifically for the frequency band of 500 to 1000 Hz, which is often found in the human voice.
3. The combination of six colors can add a variety of expressions that blend in with any space.

These features reduce the reverberating sound of glass to create a clear space in which it is easy to talk.
