RUTILEA, a portfolio company of Abies Ventures, was commissioned by the Thai government to develop a firearms detection system, which was featured in the Nikkan Kogyo Shimbun.

In Thailand, the possession of firearms is permitted under a registration system, and incidents of gun violence and shootings have become a social problem.
RUTILEA will work with the Science Technology and Innovation Policies Institute (STIPI) of Thailand to develop AI technology to detect firearms from video information.

RUTILEA will continue its efforts beyond Japan under the slogan “AI for all with zero code”.
