Abies Ventures is pleased to announce that Abies Ventures, Inc. (“Abies Ventures”) has established “Abies Ventures Fund II Investment Limited Partnership” (“Abies Fund II”). Abies Fund II has completed the first close, with participation from a Japanese government-backed investment company, leading Japanese business corporations, and family offices and individual investors from Japan and abroad. Abies Fund II will continue to seek investments from financial institutions, business corporations, and institutional investors who support the activities of the Abies Fund II, and plan to conduct the final offering in August 2025.

Abies Fund II will benefit the prosperity of investors and portfolio companies, as well as the Japanese economy and society, by investing mainly in seed- and early-stage deep tech startups in Japan, and will  contribute to the realization of a sustainable society.

In addition, upon the establishment of Abies Fund II, Fuyuki Yamaguchi and Sota Nagano will co-represent Abies Ventures to strengthen the investment management structure, aiming to create further impact.
