Abies Ventures is pleased to announce that Abies Ventures Fund II Investment Limited Partnership (“Abies Fund II”) has successfully completed the second close.
Abies Fund II has been participated by a diverse group of investors, including a Japanese government-backed investment company, fund-of-funds, business corporations, and family offices and individual investors from Japan and abroad.
Abies Fund II will continue to seek investments from financial institutions, business corporations, and institutional investors who support its activities, and aims to conduct the final close in August 2025.
Through investments primarily in seed- and early-stage deep tech startups originating from universities and others in Japan, Abies Fund II will benefit the prosperity of investors and portfolio companies as well as the Japanese economy and society, and will contribute to the realization of a sustainable society.
